NATO Shape: Civil-Military Cooperation Centre of Excellence (CIMIC)
The CIMIC is a multinational sponsored, NATO accredited Centre of Excellence, which contributes with its civil-military cooperation subject matter expertise to NATO’s policy, concepts and doctrine development on all hierarchical levels. It aims to enhance NATO's military capability to respond to crisis and intention with non-military actors. It provides political guidance for NATO military bodies and further aims to serve as a reference to familiarize other actors with NATO’s policy.
