United Nations Liaison Office for Peace and Security (UNLOPS)
UNLOPS represents the Departments Political and Peace-building (DPPA), Peace Operations (POA), Operational Support (DOS) and the United Nations Counter Terrorism (UNOCT) in Brussels and liaises on all matters related to peace and security that fall under the remit of these four entities. As part of the UN-EU Strategic Partnership on peace cooperation and crisis management the UN Transitions Project seeks to take forward the priority of assessing how to best plan and execute in complementarity transitions of missions and operations.
