The World Resources Institute Europe works to increase the Institute's global impact by fostering innovative partnerships, sharing research findings and ensuring learning from European insights and experiences in areas of development and environmental protection.
The key areas of work include Business, Cities, Climate, Energy, Food, Forest, Water, and the Ocean. Further, the WRI Europe works with partners on the issue of natural resources and security, such as through the Water, Peace, and Security initiative. The regional hub in The Hague is hosting the Partnership for the Acceleration of the Circular Economy (PACE), a public-private collaboration platform concerned with advancing the transition to a global circular economy. The WRI's location in London is focused on food related topics with the Better Buying LAB, the Coalition on Urban Transitions, and the Food and Land Use Coalition.
